The University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT) is inviting inquiring minds of all ages to visit the Oshawa campus for a day of discovery. The Faculty of Science is hosting a Science Rendezvous from 10am to 3pm. This free science and technology expo will be simultaneously held throughout the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
At Science Rendezvous visitors will enjoy fun and family-friendly demonstrations and hands-on activities including:
• Creating slime using polymers;
• Examining forensic evidence and solving a crime;
• Learning about luminescence and how things glow in the dark;
• Liquid nitrogen ice cream;
• Maggot races and art;
• Who Knew? mini-seminar series;
• Morning coffee with a scientist; and
• Much more.
